Including:
- Online shopping! Send some of our coffee to your loved ones (or to yourself, we won’t tell.)
- Updated photo galleries (check back often to see photos from the store and some of our events)
- In-store events. We promise to keep our blog updated regularly for any and all events we’ve got planned for the store.
So in the meantime, if you’ve stopped by, please leave us a comment and let us know how you like Stone Cutters Coffee & Roastery!

My grandparents couldn’t say enough about their experience at Stone Cutters’ or more importantly how great the coffee was. They went on and on about it; I can’t wait until online ordering is availabe and I can try it myself; currently living in upstate NY.
Best of luck in your new business, looks like you have a winner.

This is the best coffee since I traveled through europe. Great atmosphere, and above all great people. Can’t wait to get back to Stone Cutters!

I’ve been looking for a good cup of coffee ever since Cappucino’s/Daily Grind closed. I knew from the very first taste that you “got it.” Best of luck!

Way back when I lived in California there was this lovely little place called the “Chez D Cafe” (cute play on words–say it out loud!) across the street from my boys’ High School. I liked to meet my boys there after school when they had a short school day. We’d all have a late lunch and catch up on what was going on in their lives before we headed home to homework, school projects, and chores. They had excellent coffee and also the most wonderful sandwiches and soups served by friendly people. The “Chez D” had the best combination on fine food and relaxed, welcoming atmosphere of any place I’d ever found…til now!

I use to live in Bloomington and came back for a visit over the Holidays. My mom took me to Stone Cutters and I had a hot chocolate at the shop and we took a Veggie Hummus Deluxe sandwich to go. Both were absolutely fabulous. I crave both the hot chocolate and sandwich and cannot wait for my next trip to B-town so that I can enjoy them again. I also can’t wait to try the coffee and tea.
Best of luck - even though you don’t need it!

Haven’t tried you yet, however, my daughter Genevieve, whom you just added to your family of employees will only be an asset with all of her Manhattan coffee experience and expertise and her smiling face! Can’t wait to come for a visit and try your coffee!

Genevieve is a wonderful asset and that smile of hers is the best greeting anyone could imagine, it is true! Thank you for writing Susie. All of the staff are amazing! Sam, the rugby player and the kindest guy you’ll ever meet; Eric, the musician and promising entrepreneur; Grace who is all goodness; Snow, capable and comic at the same time; Michelena, the ultimate combo of competence and genuineness; Todd, the finest barista one could hope for; Carrie, smart and sunshine personified; Neil, the glue and Greg, the visionary! That is but a few, the list is not all inclusive, but wow, Stone Cutters is lucky in their alliances and those who represent it!

Came into town to visit my evil twin sister and she had your coffee in her fridge. LOVED IT!!!! Brought some back with me to Princeton NJ and have now gotten some of my colleagues addicted. Andrea will now become the family mule for bringing back this great coffee to us in PA and NJ. Plus, she was right about the folks running it, Greg & Carrie are awesome.

Stopped in before Christmas, after seeing the article in the newspaper about your opening. I was looking for a local coffee to give my son-in-law for Christmas, as he is a coffee addict like myself. Was thrilled with the XXX. Bought a bag of whole bean for both him and me! Can’t wait until we can order online so I can send a bag to Tennessee where he and my daughter live. That will be so fun, and an unexpected treat for them!

Was Introduced to Stonecutters by a good friend in Bloomington, and I haven’t had better coffee any place!

I just posted a 5 star review on your facebook page, but wanted to post here as well and let you know that I have fallen head over heels in love with this place! It has such a friendly, cheerful atmosphere, great music that puts me in a happy mood every time I step foot in the door, and incredibly delectable food and coffee. You can tell the genuine love that went into building this place from the ground up. The owner and people who work there all have a contagious passion for the place, and it’s rubbed off on me. I just told everyone I know in Bloomington to check it out. See you again tomorrow morning for my morning cup!

Fantastic ambience and surroundings in your store. Thanks so much for the special Cutters Blend — a good coffee and proceeds to support kids playing soccer!

My husband and I moved to Columbus from Australia in 2007 and have just discovered Stone Cutters. It is the best coffee we have tried since arriving. The atmosphere and menu is such a reminder of home that I wish we lived close enough to visit everyday.
Thank you for saving this coffee addict.

To the person above who mentioned Chez D Cafe, thank you! I am the the original owner of the cafe. As we sold it almost 11 years ago, it’s nice to be remembered fondly.

Have been to Stonecutters at least once a week, and the quality of service and food is excellent. Love the atmosphere, coffee is the best, food is fresh and delicious. I, along with several friends, highly recommend Stonecutters Coffee and Roastery.

The first time I walked into the place I fell in love. It has great atmosphere, great staff, and great food! I am a regular in there and they even take time to know me by name and what my favorites are. They have soups of the day that are mouthwatering and definitely makes me feel like I’m eating gourmet. I love this place!

Everything about Stonecutters is fabulous! I love the food, the coffee, the staff, and the ambiance. Sitting outside on the patio last week was devine. Our yoga group wouldn’t think of eating anywhere else. See you Tuesdays.

I come to Bloomington from time to time to stage manage the operas. I’ve stopped in many times this trip and love the coffee at Stone Cutters. The staff is just lovely and the coffee is the best in Bloomington. Thank you for that. And thank you for the party we just had Saturday night (8/1) after the performance of The Light in the Piazza. The food was gourmet. I hated to leave. It was a fabulous evening.

We stopped by Stone Cutters last Saturday night around 9 pm to check out the wine and tapas. We were so glad we did. The tapas and wine selections were wonderful. Loved the cheese plate and meatballs. Your staff took great care of us. I look forward to the fall when we can stop by and sit outside. We wish you all the best and will definitely be back soon.

I just read in the newspaper about the “tapas nights”. Sounds really good! It would be great if the weekly specials could be posted online, or even to receive an e-newsletter each week.

I hate to put this in a public forum, but I don’t see any way to contact you from the web site besides this.
The past week, when I have come in the store, the staff have not been very professional. One day, I waited for 5 minutes while one of the staff finished her phone conversation about graduation weekend. That day it took me 15 minutes to get a latte despite the fact that I was the only person being served. Then another day, I asked about the breakfast burritos and was told “Well, I don’t know how to make those” by one staff and “If you *really* want one, I guess I could make it” by another. They seemed unknowledgeable about the menu and what you offered and what you didn’t.
I love your coffee and your shop. I want to see it succeed. Also, these are staff that I haven’t seen before, so it may just be the time of the year when you’re changing staff and so things aren’t as smooth as they normally are. Or perhaps people are on vacation and you have people filling in for your otherwise awesome staff.
I’m hoping to give it a couple of weeks and then try again. Hopefully the staff will have improved. And make the breakfast burritos a permanent part of the breakfast menu! It’s unique to the shop and half the reason I come to Stone Cutters!
